Can my dog join if they've never been on a group outing before?

Yes. Your dog's first Adventure gives me the chance to see how they travel, settle into the routine and interact with the other dogs. If you're unsure whether your dog would enjoy a small-group Adventure, get in touch and we can chat about them first.

 

Do you offer a meet and greet before the first Adventure?

Yes. If you'd prefer to meet first, we can arrange a relaxed introduction and a short walk with Moose or Bear before your dog's first Adventure.

 

Will my dog be off-lead?

Dogs are only off-lead in secure, fenced dog parks. When exploring walking trails, bushland, wetlands or other public spaces, dogs remain on-lead.

 

What do I need to provide?

Your dog will need a suitable harness and leash for their Adventure. 

 

How do I pay for Adventures?

Once I've confirmed a place for your dog, you'll complete their enrolment and provide your payment details. Future Adventures will then be charged automatically to your card on file after each Adventure.

 

Do you offer casual or one-off Adventures?

No. Adventures are designed to be part of a regular weekly or fortnightly routine. A regular schedule helps dogs become familiar with the routine, their Adventure friends and the overall experience.

 

What if my dog doesn't settle into the group?

Not every dog enjoys the same social environment, and that's okay. I'll keep a close eye on how your dog travels, interacts and settles into the group. If I don't think Adventures are the right fit for them, I'll be upfront with you. Your dog's wellbeing always comes first.

 

What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions are too hot, stormy or otherwise unsuitable for an Adventure, I'll contact you about any changes or cancellation. The decision will always be based on what's safest and most comfortable for the dogs.

 

What happens if I'm not home for pick-up or drop-off?

That's fine. If you're comfortable doing so, we can arrange secure access to your home or yard in advance. We'll discuss the arrangements before your dog's first Adventure so you know exactly how pick-up and drop-off will work.

 

What happens after I enquire?

I'll be in touch to have a quick chat with you about your dog, their personality and what you're looking for. If it sounds like Adventures could be a good fit, we'll organise the next steps and arrange their first Adventure.
